Applicants must have replaced 5,000 windows during their installation career and even with this requirement, we accept only 1 in 3 applicants.
The average level of experience of our crew members is 10 years. Last year alone, each Renewal by Andersen crew installed an average of 1,000 replacement windows. Experience is not enough. Ongoing training is an important part of what makes our installers the very best. Every Renewal by Andersen installer must complete 40 hours of annual training in the following areas:
* EPA certification for lead-paint-safe renovation
* Techniques for accuracy in measuring
* Fine cabinetry finish trim
* Current or updated building code requirements/changes
* Infiltration of water/air
* Exterior trim coil
